A Bar-Top Burn candle poured into a rescued Chablis bottle

It started with a bin full of good glass

Every night, pubs, bars and house parties throw out hundreds of bottles with real character. Embossed glass, deep greens, labels worth keeping. Almost all of it gets crushed without anyone looking twice.

We started collecting them instead. What began as saving a few nice bottles from the bin turned into a small candle business built entirely around reuse.

Made slowly, and by hand

Local pubs and party hosts now set bottles aside for us. We wash them, score and cut them by hand, then sand every edge smooth so the bottle keeps its shape and its label.

Then comes natural soy wax and a hand blended scent chosen to suit the bottle it goes into. We work in batches small enough that no two candles ever come out quite the same, which is the point.

What you are left with

When the wax has burned down, the glass is still perfectly good. Recycle it, or wash it out and use it as a vase, a tumbler or somewhere to keep your brushes. That is the third life, and it is the part we like most.

Why it matters

Considered, not complicated

Genuine reuse

Every vessel is a real rescued bottle, not new glass made to look reclaimed.

Small batches

We only pour as many candles as the bottles we have collected allow. Nothing is overproduced.

Honest pricing

Sourcing bottles locally rather than buying new glass keeps our costs down, and yours with them.
